Heather I can't stress enough how important chemo and radiation are after a whipple. Our dads cancer was 1 cm with no lymph node involvement. Dad decided no chemo and radiation. Dads cancer came back in the lung and dad died. Tell your relative they have the battle half won do the chemo and radiation to kill any little stray cancer cell that might remain. Hugs Lillie
