Dear Markus: Any chance that your dad could have developed a blood clot in the leg that is breaking off and traveling to the lungs??? That is what happened to my dad and it took several trips to the ER to get it diagnosed. I don't think people with mets to the lungs have a lot of problems breathing neccessarily unless the met is big and obstructs a major breathing passage. It might be worthwhile to make sure that they have ruled out blood clots as a cause of his decreased oxygen. Good luck-Brenda
