Well it has been a long hard journey this last 6 months. Yesterday, with great difficulty, my Sil and I were able to get my MIL into the hospital bed where she has remained. She is so very weak and slept most of the day and night. She is comfortable this morning and has the most peaceful smile. She ate a little cottage cheese(we have to feed her)and drank a little skandi shake. Hospice spoke to my Fil about how close we are and he is trying to let her go. I thank God every moment for Coastal Hospice. I think I would be insane without them. I contacted the funeral home yesterday.(Hospice direction) It is so unbelievably difficult. I feel like a heavy weight is sitting on my heart. We thank you for your continued prayers and support. As always, my thoughts and prayers are with you all. (((Hugs))) Karen
