Thank you, Brenda, for asking about my wife. She is recuperating well but is still not on regular food. They allowed her to have two popsicles today -- a real treat! Her nurse seems to think she is still losing to many fluids. Urine is still very dark brown, but she has bowel sounds, some gas, and has had a very small movement. All positive signs. Her skin still is yellow but her eyes are almost all white. She's very tired from the hospital routine that won't let her sleep!!! But her spirit is truly excellent. The dietician was in to see her, so maybe she'll start on 'regular' food soon. She's walking two or three times a day and doing her breathing exercises. Once she's on solid food (and home) her oncologist wants to start her on Gemzar. Thanks, again.
