My dad had the whipple in Charleston SC although we live in Western NC, very good dr.Dad was 75 yrs at that time and struggled a little longer to get his stomach and things working again , after surgury, but he took his time and finally got his life back to normal. He chose no chemo or radiation at that time. 1 1/2 yrs later problems started and reoccurance. 2 1/2 yrs later he's had 4 tx chemo and it is wicked. He will have to think twice and make some decisions tomorrow. We are coming to another crossroad. My prayers are always with you all. If anyone has any suggestions for my dad , please send them on.
