Lisa, I am so sorry to hear that your Dad is feeling so badly. I know I have described to you the horrible reaction my Dad also had to his final week of chemo and radiation. It took him a few weeks but he slowly started to bounce back. This was all at the end of July. He continued to lose weight up until a couple of weeks ago, he has finally added a few pounds, he had been steadily losing weight since mid-April. He is due for his first CT scan tomorrow morning since chemo/radiation and 4 weeks of 5FU and Gemzar. His CA-19 numbers have been rising so his oncologist is concerned. Needless to say so are we. Hope your Dad can hang in there and get his Gemzar started.
