Hello everyone! I have been reading posts every day and checking up on everyone. My MIL had a CT Scan last week and the results were good and bad. They indicated that the Gemzar/Camposar (spelling?) have reduced in size the tumors on her liver but now she has tumors on her ovaries. She also was diagnosed with Diverticular Disease (thank god that is something she can deal with). The doctors did NOT do any kind of tumor removal when they first diagnosed the PC - and have noticed the 'cysts' on her ovaries but said they would have to wait until she was stronger to do something about them - now the CT Scan indicates it is carcinoma - what should we expect??? Do you think they will try to do some kind of laproscoptic surgery to remove them or is it too late??? She has been feeling a lot better knowing some of the tumors have decreased in size - but has the ovarian thing to worry about now. Do you think it has metastisized????

Thanks, Tammy
