So sorry to hear about your son-in-law. My mom was diagnosed in June. She is 59 years old and she and my dad just retired last year. This is the worst thing that could have ever happened to our family. My parents have worked their 'tails' off to be able to retire early. Now they are dealing w/ this awful cancer. This is a very difficult time and it is almost 'unbelievable.'

I would suggest chemo & radiation as well. There are some wonderful people in this chat room. They are all very helpful & supportive. I've been printing positive chats for my mom to read. I try to keep her hopeful. Perhaps you could do the same for your daughter & son-in-law.

Has he had a 2nd opinion?

Let me know if I can help!
