My father-in-law was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer this past summer. I have been doing all sorts of research on treatment for this type of cancer and have come across some very interesting and promising treatments. Unfortunitely father-in-law does not desire to seek other treatment than what he has been receiving from his local oncologist. You have inspired me to share some of my findings... There is a doctor in NYC that is working on alternative cures for Pancreatic Cancer. I found his work so very promising as I do know someone who followed his program program for Ovarian Cancer (when diagnosed terminal by her doctors in Oregon.) She is now in complete remission. There is a gentleman by the name of Dr. Kelley who cured himself of Pancreatic Cancer back in the 1960's. Dr. Gonzalez did a clinical study on pancreatic cancer based on Dr. Kelleys methods. Please check out http://telescan.nki.nl There is a Patient Discussion Board..."Dr. Gonzalez/Dr. Kelley-From Linda is very encouraging and will tell you how to go about getting more info. Linda's mother is currently following his program for Pancreatic Cancer she posts her e-mail too. Also check out the Cancer Center of Century City Hospital in Los Angeles CA. they are currenty doing some very innovative clinical trials and review cases weekly. 1-800-605-5166. They were very supportive ande and helpful when I called for information. The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston is dedicated in the research of Pncreatic surgery. Dr. Douglas B. Evans, M.D. is the chief of endocrine tumor surgery there. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. I am also a mother with a 1 1/2 year old and one on the way due in July. I will keep you posted on anything else I come across and hope that you will never give up... I feel that if you believe that you will get well and fight hard and try everything you can you will beat this. Please keep me posted too.
