Instead of weeping & wailing emulate your sister & think positively. She was diagnosed with a terrible prognosis & thru her cheerful attitude & ability to heal she has progressed from someone with 3 months to live to someone who has an excellent chance to live many more productive and happy years. You should be ecstatic. Did she have chemo & radiation in addition to the surgery? How did she get rid of mets to the liver? Maybe I sound harsh to you but I have PC and my family has been positive and supportive throughout my bad times as well as being there for me during the good times. It is 18 months since I was diagnosed & I'm still going strong. Please be upbeat & supportive for your sister. Your negative attitude will drag her down. My oncologist has warned me against associating with negative people. If you have to feel depressed, please do it where she can't see you & be bright & cheerful around her. I recommend you read the book "You Can't Afford the Luxury of a Negative Thought" in the Life 101 series. It is available at bookstores like Borders. I believe it will help you enormously.
