I was so glad to see that a young person such as yourself visits this chat room. Please take a look at the message that I posted regarding my sister. She is a relatively young woman, with three young people in her life; all of whom I know are aware of the seriousness of her disease. She tries to hide it so as not to scare them, but they know.I don't know how to help - do you have any advice? This is soooooo hard on everyone - I love my sister and her children very much. Her 13 year old daughter is now failing in school. How can I help or what can I do? I lost my father at 9 years of age. I was angry that my mother never told us the truth about his disease until after he died. Is this how you feel? Should I talk to my niece even though her parents haven't?I love them all very much. Please give me your thoughts. love to you from - the sister.
