Sue, bile duct cancer is a very fast growing spreading cancer. Our dad had bile duct cancer and he had a whipple but his cancer came back mets to the lungs and he died Feb 1. 5fu is a ruff chemo. I know his oncologist is treating him aggresively. You said he is having a ruff time after the first round. Do you mean nausea? There is a pill called Zofran that is one of the best for nausea but a little expensive. Some other meds for nausea are ativan, compazine, Phenegran suppositories. If thats not what you mean let me know what you mean by ruff ok. The teens.....I am 50 and I raised 3 girls 2 of my own and 1 was my sister. Sue no matter what we think of them they are still kids and just have no clue. Keep your thumb on top of them because as you and your husband are dealing with the cancer they can go stray and I know it will be hard but be TUFF. Hugs Lillie
