Patti, I will pray for your dads, good test results. I am sorry for the pain you and your family are going through. My dad is now bed ridden and sleeps all day and is disoriented. We know he is in his final stages and it has been so hard watching the process of him deterioate. I hate this disease and wish no one would ever have to suffer this way. The best to you. Spend as much time together as you can and make each moment count. I have been fortunate enough to live blocks away from my parents and my 2 girls are in college, so I am somewhat free. I have been able to spend every morning and evening with my dad for 3 months now and finally feel somewhat at peace having been able to take part in his caregiving and just spending time together watching ball games, movies and just lying quiet in bed with him and holding his hand for his comfort. Sorry to rattle on but I guess I needed this too. Hugs and prayers to you, Sandra
