Welcome to the board. My FIL died with bile duct cancer Feb 1, 2001. The oncologist can give your husband chemo and radiation. Sometimes the tumor can be shrunk enough to have the whipple. Bile duct cancer is very rare and there is not a lot of information out there. Weight was a big problem for dad. You can try ensure boost or the scandishakes. Dad was a diabetic so he used glucerina and scandishakes make one for diabetics. If you will e-mail me I will heart you the site for the scandishakes. Dad liked them. I used to fix dad lots of little mini meals. I tried what we call grazing, thats where you give them 6-8 little bits of food all day long. Up above if you will click on pancreas chat when that page comes up click on the purple people, that will bring you to pancan, scroll to the bottom of the page and click on something about families, when that page comes up click on cookbook. There are a lot of recipies there that the patients have found a little easier to eat. If you can't find it e-mail me and I will heart it to you. Keep us informed and we are here to help if we can. Hugs Lillie
