Sorry, I guess my post wasn't very clear! I didn't have a blood transfusion but a transfusion of Infed which is iron. The fecal test was negative but she hasn't said anything about checking the bone marrow. Am I right in assuming this is the invasive test where they actually sample the marrow? I'm guessing that things are not so worrisome that she would recommend that at this point. I am doing well - feeling good despite chemo and still able to work and play. This new problem with the iron stores just makes me wonder if something else is happening. I didn't find much related to iron in the search either.

in finding a new job (in the midst of a chemo schedule) and losing my primary
