She succesfully treated the program which was a 5 weeks of combination chemo/radio. The onc tells us that quality of life is important so until he sees a sign that the cancer has started to progress he advises that it is best not to start more chemo. She lost about 30 pounds and has since gained about 4 pounds and stopped. Should we insist on a more agressive approach?
