My father was scheduled to have his stent put in through an endoscopic procedure and as Murphy said 'because the plumbing is all different after a whipple, it makes accessing the duct very difficult'. They were not successful attempting to do it through endoscopy so they went in through the liver (this is guided through radiology and it was very successful) This was done in April and is still working fine.
