My husand, Paul, and I were just at the gastrointerologist today discussing a stent for him. He had a Whipple last July and turned yellow a few weeks ago. His bile duct is blocked. The doc said with the remodeled plumbing from the Whipple, it may not be possible to do and ERCP, but that the radiologist should be able to go in through the liver and place the stent. We're waiting to hear from the doc to tell us which way we can go. Maybe that's an idea for your mom. Best wishes.
