I've actually heard 3 or 4 different things at this point. The general opinion is that it's not a virus (as long as the program itself didn't come from an e-mail), but a utility. Some say you don't need it, some say you do need it, some say you may need it at some point. I deleted it and I'm keeping it deleted until I come across a problem. For those of you who may want to restore it, go here for instructions: http://antivirus.about.com/compute/antivirus/library/weekly/mcurrent.htm?once= true& According to this site, it is a utility and the e-mail warning chain is a hoax. I don't know who or what to believe anymore. If anyone knows anything about it, maybe a programmer or something, I'd be interested in knowing if I really should restore it. And how do you tell the real thing from a hoax? I can't tell you how many e-mails I got warning me about this 'virus'. I hope some little geeky computer nerd got a good laugh out of all this. What a jerk.
