Although I'm familiar with a lot of medical terms, there are still plenty that throw me for a loop. Can anyone help interpret some in my mother's path. report? What does it mean if it says "perineurial invasion is present." What does it mean when it says her tumor was "extremely close to the proximal margin of the resection" and "soft peripancreatic tissue margins of resection are involved by tumor." Thanks.
