They found the cancer after the bypass surgery. He explained it as
microscopic pockets. First biopsy to liver (where they saw mass originally)
came back no cancer cells. Not until they did surgery did they find cancer.
This was the same scenario as his original surgery when they thought the
cancer was only in the bile duct until they got it and saw it was
gallbladder. We have been on an emotional rollercoaster.
