There is a relationship between stress and cancer. Stress depresses the immune system thus giving cancer cells a more opportunistic environment to develop. This is not to say that high stress causes cancer, but it certainly can put one in a state for cancer to develop. I will try to get some articles to support this, and quote them to you. I did a project several years ago on this topic and I know several studies suggest that there is a positive correlation.
