I was faced with the same decision when I first met my radiologist. He explained that one of the radiation beams would be going through the right kidney, I wasn't too happy about this idea either, but after discussing it in length he explained that....'we're doing this to save your life, we try to get the best results with the least damage done'. There's a lot of people doing well with only one kidney working 100%, so my advice to you is to go for it, you may have everything to lose if you dont.....regards and good luck, Glenyse
