My mother is scheduled for the Whipple procedure tomorrow morning at 8:00am. I am worried because her surgeon is does not do all that many of these (about 4 a year) and we are limited to the Kaiser system. All that said...I am wondering what things will look like post operatively? What can I expect in terms of recovery? I live 3000miles away but have made arraingments to fly out April 10 for two weeks to help out. Just wondering what I should expect.

Thanks--
