My Dad has bile duct cancer and has had infection after infection. He had his gall bladder out and still had another infection. Has anyone else had this problem? He decided against the whipple surgery after talking to his Dr. He is lucky, his Dr. has explained a lot to him, more info than some people seem to be getting. He thinks the time he has left would be better spent enjoying some of the finer things in life (like fishing) than to take the chance of being laid up from the surgery. He has had his stent replaced 5 times now in 2 months, but they tell him if they put a metal one in that they cannot take it out. Is this true? Good luck to everyone out there!
