So sorry to hear about your friend. As above, to give you information, it would be helpful to know some of the particulars. How did they get the biopsy (ERCP, percutaneous), have they given her a Stage for the pancreatic cancer, have they done a CA-19-9 (cancer cell count for pancreatic cancer). Have they offered her surgery (a Whipple procedure). How old is she and does she have any other major health problems. This is an excellent place to come to obtain information and support. There are many people on here who can give you very good information and want to help. Please try and give us some of the above info and I'm sure we can help you understand this a little better.
