I am not sure but you seem like a doctor. I am looking for someone who has done a lot of whipple procedures since we live in california and i don't think the doctors in sacramento have done that many. my dad had a whipple about a month ago and is at home recovering. He has lost 30 lbs and now is almost too weak to get out of bed. his drain area got infected and formed a pus sac which burst yesterday and leaked out over a cup of pus. He is not doing well and went into the procedure strong and a lot better off than he is now. what do we expect? how do we fill someone with calories do get them to gain weight? where do we find more information on whipple after affects. i cant find anything and itis frustrating. can you help. my regular e mail is lkplanning @tahoetwisters.com. thank you for any assistance.
