My brother is recovering well from surgery, but the doctors still have not discussed a treatment program with him. They tried to do a Whipple but because of the arterial and venous system they could not remove the lemon sized tumor at the neck of the pancreas. Doctor stated that they wanted him to get well before starting any treatments. Is this the standard procedure after surgery? Thank you for your help.
