I don't give advice, just tell you what happened to my husband Ron who lost his battle 18 months ago. He was diagnosed with a 2 cm tumor(inoperable) with mets to the liver. He was treated with 5FU and Cisplatin via pumps for 2 weeks on, 1 week off, 2 weeks on via a port in his shoulder. Also treated with hyperfractionated (2x/day)radiation for 6 weeks. He didn't see much relief from the pain. His onc treated the pain problem quite agressively with various drugs. He had one treatment of Gemzar after the above and that is what arrested the pain. I hope you yell and scream at his doctor to get relief for his pain. Per our onc NO ONE should have to suffer such excruciating pain. Good luck.
