Hello All. Rich continues to be hospitalized. He is receiving "TPN" and eating some solid foods. He now has black tarry stools and they are checking to see if the tumor has sloughed into the colon as well as into the intestine. He is thin as a feather (his words) and is now very wasted, withdrawn, quiet and exhausted from the disease and from the treatment. A hospital orderly thought I was Rich's daughter rather than his wife (Rich is only 47.) They appear to be managing his pain and we are now told he will be in the hospital for "a few more days." No one has given us any prognosis yet. Please keep Rich in your prayers and thoughts. He may, without you knowing it brought a lot of fun into your lives or into your children's lives. Before he became ill, he wrote cartoon music for television and composed the ANIMANIACS theme and the PINKY AND THE BRAIN theme among other songs your kids may have sung from time to time. We can only enjoy each day. Claudia S.
