thanks for responding. My Dad, 79, is in no pain. He has had no symptoms other than dark urine & jaundice in late October, when the stent was put in. He has had a battery of tests during Oct,Nov & Dec (CT Scans & Ultra Sounds of Liver,Pancreas,Gallbladder, lower Abdomen and Pelvis. Two ERCP's, a tissue brushing, and CA-19'9's. All things negative) In late December he had his stent replaced. I was tired of all this time going by, with no true diagnosis, so I sought out Dr. Yeo. The previous doctor suspects a neoplasia (tumor). Dr. Yeo has stated that from the results of all the tests, that my Dad is a good candidate for a Whipple, if it comes down to that. I am just worried about all this time going by. Even though he has had tests all along, time is truly a factor w/ this disease. So, hopefully there will be some good news in here somewhere. I will let you know.
