I have just been told that my mother has a very large growth on her pancreas and the doctor believes that it is cancer. I will be going to my parents house this weekend and don’t know how to feel or how to act. If it is cancer, is the best chance to live the “Whipple Procedure” which would only give my Mother a 25% chance to live 5 more years. Is this true?
