SILVANO, my Dad, update
My Dad, Silvano, lost his courageous battle with pancreatic cancer November
30. 2000. I am so proud of him for the way he handled himself with this
devastating disease! I feel blessed to have been present and holding his
hand talking to him as he died peacefully.I got to thank him for being my
father & that's the only good part for me in knowing he was dying. Otherwise,
I'm sill having traumatic flashbacks of his illness that time will heal. If
anyone is interested on advice, now that I have experienced the complete path
of this horrific disease, please feel free to email me. If you are 1st
diagnosed, please don't jump into standard radiation/chemotherapy, know there
are alternatives out there for you so your whole body doesn't get depleted
trying to kill the tumor. Best Wishes to all affected...
