My mom too was active all of the time and then this hit and she had extreme fatigue. While Dad tries to keep her going, he INSISTS she takes as many naps as she needs to during the day because when she doesn't she has an awful day the next day. It's very, very, important for them to keep their rest up,getting as much as possible. Is your Mom going through radiation? If so, this is definitely contributing to it, and will continue for at least a month after she stops. Again, it might help to schedule activities, my Mom has found that spur of the moment things just don't happen to well anymore, so if things are planned, including nap time, she'll probably feel better and more rested. Mom goes to bed at 8:30 every night and sleeps for about 12 hours, and then she's pretty good during the day with at least one nap. Hope that helps. Lots of love to you--Jen
