Hi, has anyone been diagnosed with stage 4 that has responded well to chemo and then surgery was an option later? My mom was recently diagnosed and there may be malignancy in c7 of her spine, though what's odd is that other organs (liver, lung) don't show hot spots on the PET/CT. Is it worth getting a biopsy of it? Reason to do so would be to confirm staging and to understand whether surgery may be an option in the future.

Thank you! Jackie
