I'm sorry to hear about your Mom. No, this is not a typical symptom for pancreatic cancer. I would definitely tell her doctors, and agree that any new medicines that have been changed could be suspect. I would also just give a quick call to her eye doctor. Considering all of the medical issues she has at the moment, he/she may be willing to quickly tell you over the phone if this is something that could be related to her eye issues, and whether she should be seen.

Is she in the hospital now? If so, maybe ask if the eye doctor/team can come see her.

When you have a fever/are sick, sometimes you can have odd symptoms as well.
