agree with Marie. I would also add that eggs ( scrambled, soft cooked) are easy sources of protein that are usually well tolerated. Dark meat ( boneless) chicken in the crock pot all day makes it soft and easier to eat. Small portions frequently. Milkshakes, using whole milk, ice cream and some protein powder in a blender can be helpful for both calories and protein. If mouth sores are problematic, soft, non-spicy foods can be easier on sensitive tissue. Most places have a nutritionist available to meet with the patients and they have wonderful recipes that are helpful. Bless you !
