Hi, I am just wondering what my chances are of having a recurrence right after whipple surgery, I was doing a 25 day chemo radiation treatment and my oncologist said my tumor marker spiked from 400ish to 600ish.. and wants to do more treatment after a ct scan to see if there is any mets. should i be worried about that number or fluctuation? i heard that the radiation can cause spikes in tumor marker levels due to cancerous cells dieng.
