I am wondering how you were able to get your surgery scheduled so fast? After knowing I had a pancreatic lesion for over a month, I finally arrived at Johns Hopkins for a pancreas protocol CT scan and a consult with a surgeon. I have adenocarcinoma in the tail which is well differentiated and confined to the pancreas. I was told surgery first, then chemo but there doesnít seem to be any urgency on the surgery!! They are telling me the surgery wonít be for 3.5 weeks!! I canít help but think about risk of metastasis and we all know what that means if that happens. How were you able to get such an immediate surgery appointment?
