Upper EUS on 04/05/19 showed a slightly lobular, 28x27 hypoechoic mass in the ucinate process region. I was seen at Emory Hospital in Atlanta and the Whipple Surgery is recommended. I'm a 74 y/o female with medically controlled hypertension and high cholesterol, otherwise healthy and am concerned about possible complications and recovery and wondering about other possible treatments.
