Has any one experienced post-pancreatic surgery intussusception aka telescoping of a segment of small bowel? In my cause, many years post-op this medical emergency seemed to me like pancreatitis but presented like a heart attack to EMTs & ER doctor. It resolved on its own while in ER. No similar symptoms have happened in almost a year. I understand that a small bowel lesion or adhesion could cause this if this is a persistent recurrent problem. Anyone with a similar experience? What was outcome? Such as, any further diagnostic studies after ER visit?
