we came on here 5.5 years ago when my husband was first diagnosed, thirsty for information and support. Noticed over the past 2 years, less postings. Although, we came here less often as well. Sometimes we hold our breath, afraid to post my husband's progress here as if saying it out loud will somehow 'jinx' his blessings. I realize now that by not posting, we are missing an opportunity to offer others the hope we were so desperately seeking. My husband is 5.5 years out, distal pancreatectomy. Stage 2 with positive post surgical margins. Chemo, radiation and a clinical trial at Hopkins. Recent scan clear. We STILL hold our breath, count our blessings and fear the day when the scan results will not be good. I hope this gives encouragement to others with the same diagnosis. Prayers and God's blessings.
