The TPN has been changed several times to accommodate deficiencies. The surgeon driving her care is in total control. MIL was moved to medical ICU & finally had a doctor who was interested/involved/challenged by her. Brain scans were ordered (all negative) with/without contrast. The ICU DOCTOR (female) stood up to the surgeon & provided treatment. As soon as MIL was transferred to medical step down, surgeon swooped back in & took over her care against my objections. Other family members were fine with this. ICU doc had GI go in & lower feeding tube. NO VOMITING for a few days!!!!
