But let me tell you, I have also seen some lazy neurologists out there. If possible, please try to be there when the neurologist visits, to clearly tell them what she was like just prior to surgery. Paint a vivid picture saying how bright/active/working/exercising etc..., whether she was sleeping/had mood issues/ any prior cognitive issues. And remind the doctor that this surgery and post-surgical treatments are potentially CURATIVE for this devastating cancer, so please do not give up on us and give us your best assessment as to what can be going on here.
