My mother had whipple 8 mos ago (IPMN and stage 1 pancreatic ca) and has recurrent ESBL E Coli bacteremia. Unable to locate source of infection - so has been on chronic IV antibiotics. Both antibiotics and whipple contribute to chronic diarrhea. Suggestions?
