Thank you so much for your response. She had a UTI but that cleared up. No dx of dementia or Alzheimer's (or confusion) prior to the surgery. We are told that she has sundowning -- which I don't believe. Requests for psych & Neuro consults have been denied however CT scan of brain was clear. Very recently diagnosed with gastroperisis hence the constant vomiting (as we are told). Her surgeon is the chief who is a certified Whipple surgeon. I would LOVE to move her but that would a battle with my brother-in-law. I've contacted a naturopath to see if he will consult because we are at our wits end. It doesn't seem that there is light at the end of this tunnel. Thank you for validating my concerns.
