It’s been a long while since I have posted/visited, but thought someone might be able to help me. Long story short- distal pancretectomy for nueroendrine tumor in 06, liver Mets with surgeries in 09, 09 and 18 and radiation in 14. Started off as non-functional and became functional in 2010 so I have been on Sandostatin injections since then. After my last liver surgery, due to very High Chromogranin A number 2,435 and weight loss I had my first ever PET Scan. I’m waiting to see my oncologist, but was wondering what this means from my report: Impression- “Somatostatin Receptor Tracer Ga-68 Dotate PET/CT demonstrates new tracer-avid docile within the liver and redemostration of Fock radiotracernupdake at the gallbladder fossa suggested be of progressive malignant disease.” There was no mention of any new masses which I thought was a good sign, but my oncologist wants to meet. This is making me very nervous! Thank you.
