This week I was diagnosed with stage 2B adenocarcinoma exocrine, the most common type of pancreatic cancer. The whipple procedure was performed by a wonderful surgeon ,Dr. David Iannitti of Carolina Medical Center-Charlotte. He specializes in pancreatic and liver diseases. Had complications with bleeding and other problems but ten years later I am healthy and cancer free. There is hope out there ! My heart goes out to everyone fighting this disease. Bless you all.
