Today I found this chat room, again, a decade or so after I was last on it. My husband, diagnosed in 2003, passed away in 2005. And this chat room helped me get through. When he was sick, and when at 2 a.m. I couldn't sleep because of worry, crying, fear, getting on this chat room helped more than I can express. You guys get it. You guys understand and no one else, unless they've lived this, truly does. In the early hours of the morning, US east coast time, I would chat with people from California, Australia, England, or Hong Kong. It's a universal disease and the help, advice, and empathy I got from the people on this chat room helped me deal with my husband's illness, death, and trying to emotionally deal with his loss. Thank you for all that this chat room has given me and my hope is that, although no one wants to be here, it helps you as well.
