My niece is having whipple surgery for pre cancerous lesion. My husband had the whipple ten years ago. He lasted six years n two months. When he was told he had PC they said they would let him know if he would be able to have the whipple they did send letter told him when to be there etc. my niece received a notebook of information of things to do pre surgergy and what to excpect after surgery. Is this something new ? I think it is great. Wish we had known more when he had his. My niece went in because she thought she was having a heart attack no other symptoms. We also lost a 44 year old son 17 months after my husbands surgery. I am so sorry for the battle you are all fighting. This chat was such a help to us.
